Why do I feel this way? Why do I always feel unsettled? Does this sound like you?
- Do you always feel unsettled
- Constantly in fight Mode (always pushing, trying to prove something, restless, do more, be more, achieve more, fight, fight, fight!)
- Easily agitated
- You feel like your stress level is always on high (on a scale of 1-10, a 6 or higher)
- You can’t relax
- Sleep is light or restless
- You have symptoms that just won’t go away
- You just don’t feel like your body is getting what it needs, no matter what you do, to heal, to repair, to be at ease?
You could be stuck in a state of constant stress and conflict. There may be an anchor point to all of this.
Let me explain…..
At a particular point in your life, (there may be a couple or several points) a very disturbing, high stress, traumatic, or even a “moment” that occurred that you were not able to process in that moment. That’s when everything kinda changed. It shifted.
You see, our bodies are supposed to have an easy flow. A nice easy balance of ebb and flow, going from sympathetic (fight, flight, or freeze responses) to parasympathetic (rest, digest and heal)
When we are sleeping, we enter into the Parasympathetic Nervous System. This is where we rest, and digest; our food, our emotions, and our experiences. This is also where we heal; the body repairs itself, grows new tissue, detoxes, renews and replenishes.
During the day, we naturally enter our Sympathetic Nervous System. We deal with the normal day-to-day stressors; schedules, kids, obligations, jobs, demands, and the list goes on right? We are in a more stress type state. If we are balanced, we are doing it in a healthy way and we are kicking ass!
But some of us, myself included, (there have been 4 anchor points, so far, in my life experiences) that created a shift in our natural body rhythm. So, instead of this nice, balanced ebb and flow that should be occurring, we have created a new baseline.
We still shift from Sympathetic to Parasympathetic, but it’s in a much tighter, condensed, and constrictive parameter. We don’t stay in the rest, digest and heal pattern long enough for it to do its job.
Therefore, creating imbalance in the body. Showing up as more constant stress, dis-ease, ailments, symptoms, anxiety, depression, in hyper vigilant mode, feeling unsettled, and so on.
So how do we correct this?
What I can do, is access your subconscious mind; your brilliant, record keeping, data collecting, personal google search mind, and find this age, this moment, this anchor point, that created this shift in the body’s rhythm. This point disrupted the energy that allows your body to heal, overcome, balance and repair. The physical, emotional and mental aspects of the event(s) that told you …. you are not safe, you are not good enough, you can’t heal, you have to struggle, feeling unsettled is normal, you don’t deserve…. to be happy, fulfilled, abundant, healthy, treated well, etc.etc.
So again, we are able to go back and identify and release this event that created this “dam” that was blocking the flow. To enable your body, mind and spirit to return to its normal, natural rhythm and flow again.
It’s almost like we’re going back in time, to that moment. Like in the movie “Back to the Future.” (I’m dating myself now, referencing a movie from the 80’s) In that movie, they went back to the past and changed that one thing, and from that one thing, everything from that point on, changed because of it. We are identifying what jammed everything up, what got you out of a normal balance and put you into a state of stress, survival, and chaos, feeling unsettled, and then, now, allowing your body to come back to that normal baseline. Wild, right? It’s so freeing, so uplifting, and can have a dramatic effect on how we experience life going forward.
